North York Tennis Association is pleased to be partnering with Tennis Canada , the Ontario Tennis Association, the Toronto and Catholic School Boards, the Philpott Inner-City Children’s Foundation and many North York community organizations to host an official launch of the Little Aces Family Tennis Programs. This event will not only be targeting youth but also promoting Wheelchair Tennis and Senior’s groups to help introduce affordable and accessible community tennis programs. Tennis Canada and the OTA helped present this concept during our Community Tennis Club meeting held earlier Feb 22, 2011.
The Official Launch of North York’s National Progressive Tennis Community initiative will be held at the:
Oriole Community Centre ( 2975 Don Mills Road ) on Saturday May 28th from 12 - 3pm.
This launch event will help introduce families to tennis! Up wards of 20 mini tennis courts will be set up in the parking lot to create a fun festival type environment. The day’s agenda includes games, family activities, free tennis lessons, mascots, special guests, prizes, BBQ, exhibition matches, free t-shirts and a free tennis racquet for those kids signing up for a Summer Club membership.
