2010 Pleasantview Tennis Club Double Tournament
Dear Pleasantview Tennis Club members and friends,
Thanks for your support, we have a wonderful season in the 2010. Now is the time to celebrate our successful season by having a double tournament next week as the 2010 season will come to an end soon.
We are going to have a doubles tournament next Saturday Sept. 25th Starting at 11:00am (Rain out Sunsday Sept. 26). The tournament will be for fun and social and will be open to members and their friends.
The event will be organizes as a team event. That is, the players are organized by teams by draw, such as two to four teams (Red, Yellow, Blue and Green), with each team have at least 6 mens and two ladies). A captain will be elected by each team to organize the lineup for the team.
Five to six matches (depending on the number of participants) will be played between two teams which includes 3MD + 2MIX + 1 LD. In the case four teams, the two winning team will be enter the final to compete for the championship, the two team lost in the fist round will compete for a third place.
To help for the successfully organize the event, $5 will be collected from each participate.
$10 will be collected from guest and friends who are non-members. New tennis balls and refresh will be provided.
