The PV Tennis Club Single & double Championship 2009 + BBQ has been postponed. the event was originally scheduled for Sept 5th.
the tournament and BBQ party will be rescheduled to Sept12th.
All registrations will be carried over to the new date. (However, you might want to re-register again, just in case)

Registration: Men's double & Women's double send an email to Davis@pleasantviewtennis.com /Tom@pleasantviewtennis.com till Sept 11th
4 open spots for drop-in players(first come first server)
note: we will try to find one for you if you don't have a partner!
Tournament Rules:
A Double-Elimination tournament which is broken into two sets of brackets, the Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket. After the first round, the winners proceed into the W Bracket and the losers proceed into the L Bracket. Each player has to lose twice to be eliminated and one player remains will be the Champion.
Game Rules:
match will be played one SET (up to 8game) and if the game tied at 7/7 and tiebreak will be played.
No Advantage in each game. If the score is 40-40(deuce), only one point will be played (the receiver calls the side)
Semi-final and final match will be the first to win 2 sets win the match
Cost: to cover the new balls and pizza lunch and trophy for club champion/runner-up
Members: $5
Non members: $10
BBQ: shared by all participators

Now, we are having final 8 players. The interesting thing is 4 players from west and 4 players from east. In terms of leaving enough time for double matches next weekend. We’d like to ask 8 players finish their matches during the weekdays EXCEPT FINAL. You guys can decide the rules and just let Tom/Davis know the final score.
